Tiffany and I took this cutie with us to run some errands last week.
He seemed to have fun riding in the carts. He was good and enjoyed snacking on crunchersHe fell asleep on the way back to our house and went down nicely for his nap after I changed him. It was neat having him in the same pack-n-play that my children were in. I’ll put up a picture of that one day.
On this last day of him being with me for this go around, he tried to walk around quite a bit through the whole walk a few steps, fall, get up, walk a few steps, fall, et cetera routine. He seemed to feel the need to sling around his sippee cup that I bought him during that shopping trip. The milk in the cup seemed to throw him off balance.
He also liked to carry around Sean’s Perfect Pushup thingy.
Do you ever have a certain day for an activity and then you change the day for that activity and have a very difficult time remembering which day it actually is? That happened with Tiffany and I this week. We usually run errands one day but have done it on a different day for the last several months. This week we went on yet another day and have really messed with our heads!
The bread I made last week was really good! So nice to have real sandwiches again. My body seems to like having some carbs.
I told a friend at church about Trim Healthy Mama and she has excitedly joined us on this journey. It is fun having someone I know in real life to share information, recipes, and food chat with.
While shopping last week we found these amazing snacks! It is freeze dried fruit! We have tried many kinds of dried pineapple and most of them have added sugar. But this one is nothing but freeze dried pineapple! It is really good. We also LOVE the freeze dried banana; it reminds us of banana bread. Of course we don’t want to overdo this snack and must keep it with the right foods so as not to spike the blood sugar.
We have enjoyed this new snack.
In other news, our Bible reading challenge is coming to an end. Michael and I are so pleased to complete it. It is always good to get the Word into us and the more so when I can do it in a short time or in big chunks.
The big challenge once finished with that, is now to decide how to proceed with my Bible reading/studying. I’ve considered reading through the gospels several times over the next few months or maybe through the New Testament. Maybe read through the entire Bible again (only slower) using a different version of the Bible.
I hope you have a happy Labor Day weekend!
Until next time, God bless,
