There are times when you are just tired and don’t want to be intimate with your beloved. I know. Trust me. But let me reassure you that the best thing you can do for your marriage is to stop and ask God to energize you and help you desire to be intimate with your sweetie right then.

But don’t stop there. Ask Him to help you “get into” it. Nobody wants just a willing participant. You want to make love with someone that is interested, passionate even. Ask God to help you and then have a positive attitude and love on your sweetie. It will be worth it.

You will have invested in your marriage, made a sacrifice of your own desires, and been a blessing to your spouse. That is a win, win, win situation.

Now I know there are special circumstances where you and your spouse may agree that postponing intimacy is best but those should be the rarity and not the normal.
