Mike and I have been married since June of 1987. When my oldest son got married we had just celebrated our 25th anniversary and my parents had just celebrated their 50th. Time sure does fly!
I have homeschooled our three children for all of their education with the exception of Pre-K when my oldest son was 4; that year we sent him to the private school at the church we went to. By the time the year was over we knew we needed to bring him home and I home educated him and his siblings through high school graduation. As I begin this blog my youngest is beginning her senior year and I’m working myself out of a job.
I love God with all my heart. My desire is to do what He wants me to do and please Him. I love food and consequently, I am frequently trying to bring my weight down to a better place. I have found that I enjoy creating art but must make time to actually do art.
We live in the country and enjoy all that God has blessed us with; be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.
It is my desire to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will stick around and share your thoughts.
God bless you,
