First, thank you Katie and Annemarie for taking the time to comment on my post last week. It means a lot when someone takes the time to do that. I really appreciate it!!!

iamthedivacztThe Diva, Laura Harms, is taking a summer break from blogging but has not left us without a challenge, as she has lined up guest bloggers to challenge us. :) This week Lee Darter is the guest blogger. The challenge is to do a circus theme tile AND use Cack and Tropicana, with Fescue, LinQ, or Florz.

I have to say that I was challenged! :) Mission accomplished. ;)

I was struggling with how to make it a circus theme. I finally settled on a circular ‘stage’ using Tropicana. Then I used Cack as if it was the act performing. After that I settled on LinQ as my additional tangle. I have never used any of these tangles before so that added another level of difficulty to my challenge. ;)

Without further adieu, here is my tile.

Thanks for visiting! :)

Until next time, God bless,

  1. This is just wonderful! Your shading and arrangement really give a circus theme. I am so glad you were able to use new tangles. I just love Tropicana, it is one my favorites. I also love pop cycles…if you have not used that one give it a try.

  2. Definitely looks like one of the rings at a circus! I just wonder what those Cack tangles are doing for their performance. Thank you for sharing!

  3. There is a definite circus look to this, which I didn’t manage with mine. I was glad to have been somehow able to get such different tangles to play nicely together. I think they are monocyclists, beneath the trapezes within the ring. Nice use of patterns to get the effect you wanted.

  4. Your tile has a real circus feeling and I like that! You are so kind, to mention the names of people that commented the week before. Thanks for that!
