Wow! 2020! That just amazes me. At any rate, on to the tangling.
Between Christmas and New Year I decided to do a simple tile with hopes of trying out my new Lindy’s Magicals on it. But I loved the lineart so much that I didn’t want to risk messing it up and decided to just shade it as usual. (I played with my magicals on a different, quickly drawn tile of flux and cupcake, I think it was.) I’m so glad I didn’t do it on this tile because there is definitely a learning curve with these things.
I got out my One Zentangle A Day book and just opened to day one and used the tangles suggested there: Static, Tipple, and Crescent Moon.
Here is a scan of my tile before shading.
I seriously do not know which way I prefer this one.
I did some of the lines of Static further apart so that I could try and add some nice color on them but as I said, I changed my mind.
Here is the finished scanned tile.
I took one in natural light too but I’m in a bit of a hurry and so I need to run. I’ll try to remember to add it on here later.
I hope you have a wonderful new year full of great creativity.
Until next time,
